Mission

Corsa Running Club is about uplifting one another and building genuine connections through movement. Every mile is stronger when we do it together.

Vision

We envision a community where running is more than training — it’s a way to grow, to belong, and to support each other on and off the road. At Corsa, every pace and every runner has a place.

Corsa Running Club – Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines

Version 1.0 – October 2025

Community & Respect

Corsa is committed to a culture of kindness, equity, and accountability. Everyone, participants, captains, volunteers, and guests — is expected to uphold the following:

  • All are welcome.
Irrespective of experience, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, ability, or background.

  • Act with intentional kindness and respect.
We expect you to treat others with dignity, listen openly, and engage with empathy.

  • Zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination.
Harassment includes but is not limited to:
    • Insults, slurs, or demeaning language
    • Unwanted or suggestive physical contact
    • Harassing or threatening behavior, including online
    • Targeted photography, recording, or sharing without consent

  • Accountability & responsiveness.
If someone asks you to stop a behavior that feels harassing, you must comply immediately.
Leadership will review reported issues and may take action (temporary or permanent removal) as needed.

Safety & Responsibility

  • Respect the run structure.
Follow the route, heed captain instructions, and support pacing groups.

  • Follow laws and common-sense safety.
Obey traffic signals, yield to pedestrians, and be considerate of shared spaces.

  • Children & minors.
Minors may join with prior approval from club leadership and must remain under full supervision of their parent/guardian at all times.

  • Pets.
Leashed, well-behaved pets are allowed if they do not disrupt the group. Owners are fully responsible for their safety and cleanup.

  • Your own risk.
Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

  • Emergency preparedness.
Carry your own ID, emergency contact, and any necessary medical supplies (e.g. inhaler, EpiPen).

  • For detailed running etiquette and on-the-run reminders, please review our Corsa Running Club Safety Tips & Etiquette.

Club Boundaries

  • Merchandise.
All Corsa-branded merchandise is managed by club leadership. Members may not create or sell their own unless approved.

  • Sales / Promotion.
Group runs and events are not spaces for selling or promoting products or businesses—unless pre-approved by leadership.

  • Ideas, feedback, collaboration.
We welcome your ideas! Please submit routes, events, or partnership proposals through the leadership team (don’t try to execute them solo).

Accountability

  • If someone’s actions disrupt safety, focus, or the positive spirit of the club, leadership may ask them to step away from future runs.

  • These guidelines are living — as Corsa grows, we may update or refine them.

  • We encourage everyone to help uphold these values. If you witness or experience behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to leadership.

Our Promise:
We build Corsa not just with shoes and miles, but with kindness, integrity, and respect. Thank you for helping create a space where every runner – regardless of pace or background – feels empowered, supported, and valued.
