Corsa Running Club – Safety Tips & Etiquette
Version 1.0 – October 2025
Share the Trail 🚦
Run no more than 2 across — don’t block the trail.
Stay to the right of the yellow line (like driving a car).
Pass on the left and call out clearly: “On your left!”
Move into single file when the trail is crowded or when bikes approach.
Step fully off the trail if you need to stop.
Start and finish group runs off the trail to avoid blocking others.
Stay Alert 👀
Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Watch for bikes, runners, and pedestrians — listen for “on your left.”
Call out hazards to the group (e.g., “bike,” “hole,” “snake”).
Be Visible ✨
Wear bright or neon colors when possible.
Add reflective gear — vests, bands, or reflective shoes/hats.
Use a headlamp or handheld light in low-light conditions.
Clip on a blinking light (front and back of the group if possible).
Spread out headlamps so the group is visible without blinding others.
Group Run Etiquette 🤝
Keep a steady pace and avoid sudden stops or sharp turns.
Run with a buddy if possible, it’s safer and more fun.
Children under 18 must remain supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
Dogs must be leashed, well-behaved, and under owner control.
